tips of pedicure

What is a pedicure?

The term "pedicure" is broad, and it is important to distinguish:
> Foot Care in institute:
This is a beautician who provides this care. Using a pumice stone or a rasp, it will erase the foot and arch, then lavish various treatments: foot bath, massage, moisturizing mask ... It will then apply, according to the wishes of the client, varnish or "French" (varnish + white tip). But she is not able to perform more specific treatments involving sharp objects.
> The pedicure at a podiatrist and pedicure:
The podiatrist is a qualified practitioner, certified to treat diseases like foot calluses, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails ... It is also preventing some problems, for example by working on posture and the boot.

Foot care "home"

No time or money to give you a pedicure in a salon or a specialist? No panic, here is the program for a meeting "house", to perform every week:
> remove the painted your nails with a cotton pad soaked in a little mild solvent.
> Then prepare a foot bath (in a basin or the bottom of a bathtub): warm water + essential oils or sparkling pebbles. Dip your feet for a few minutes, which will soften the cuticles and nail trimming easier.
> Dry your feet and using a stick of boxwood, push the cuticles around the nail, but do not cut.
> With nail clippers or scissors, trim the nails, making sure to round the edges slightly, to avoid the incarnation during regrowth. The ideal size for a toenail is: it should not be above the finger, nor get stuck underneath.
> File the nail gently, following the curve of the toe.
> Massage your feet to the ankles with a nourishing cream or moisturizer.
> Finally, you can apply the varnish if you like, using a "toe separator" and correcting misbehavior with soft cotton soaked in solvent.
